Why Nordic Deployment

Rapid Access Systems Engineered for Difficult Terrain

Nordic Deployment infrastructure systems restore temporary vehicle and personnel access where damaged roads, soft ground, flood zones or remote terrain restrict movement. The modular range is designed for transport, deployment, recovery and reuse, with system configuration matched to the required crossing, load and operating environment.

Rapid Access Restoration

Deploy a temporary route without waiting for conventional road or bridge construction. Actual deployment time depends on system size, site preparation, anchoring and local conditions.

Configurable Load Capacity

D-Road modules are available for narrow- and wide-track vehicles, with published payload options from 1.5 to 18 tons. D-Bridge load suitability is confirmed for the selected span and operating conditions.

Reduced Logistics Footprint

Inflatable modules can be transported to remote locations and deployed with pumps, connectors and securing components supplied for the selected system. Equipment and lifting requirements vary by configuration.

Reusable and Relocatable

After the operation, systems can be deflated, recovered and transported for future deployment. This supports temporary access missions, emergency response and changing site requirements.
CHOOSE YOUR SYSTEM

Choose the Right Temporary Road or Bridge System

The correct solution depends on whether the route crosses unstable ground, water or a damaged access point. Share the intended vehicle class, required route length or span, terrain profile and environmental conditions so Nordic Deployment can recommend a suitable configuration.

D-Road / Bridge System for Extended Terrain Access

The D-Road / Bridge System creates a temporary inflatable roadway across swamp, tundra, soft ground and water-based environments. Modular sections can be configured for ATV/UTV or wider vehicles. Published D-Road options include 10 x 2 m and 10 x 4 m modules, with payload ratings from 1.5 to 18 tons depending on module width and thickness. Select this system for extended access routes, remote logistics, tactical mobility and lower-impact movement across sensitive terrain.

D-Bridge Inflatable Emergency Bridge for Defined Emergency Crossings

The D-Bridge Inflatable Emergency Bridge is designed for rapid temporary access across flood zones, landslides, waterways and isolated locations. Its reinforced PVC tubing, DWF modules, steel-wire support and quick connectors create a portable crossing system for emergency, military, construction and research operations. Select D-Bridge when the requirement is a defined crossing rather than a longer temporary roadway. Final span, anchoring and load suitability should be confirmed against site and mission data.

Operational Applications

Configure access infrastructure for military and tactical route access, disaster response and flood recovery, remote construction or research logistics, and temporary vehicle or personnel crossings. Each recommendation should account for traffic type, operating frequency, terrain, water conditions, transport limitations and recovery requirements.

Request a Configured Recommendation

To receive a system recommendation, provide expected vehicle or personnel load, route length or crossing span, ground or water conditions, bank profile, access constraints and desired deployment timeline. Nordic Deployment can then identify the appropriate system, module configuration and supporting equipment for quotation.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked About Infrastructure.

What is the difference between the D-Road and D-Bridge systems?
D-Road creates extended temporary roadways or bridge-style access routes across swamp, tundra, soft ground and water-based environments. D-Bridge is intended for a defined temporary crossing across waterways, flood zones, landslides or isolated access points.
D-Road can be configured for narrow-track ATV/UTV and wide-track vehicles. Published 10 x 2 m and 10 x 4 m modules have payload ratings from 1.5 to 18 tons, depending on module width and thickness. Final vehicle compatibility should be confirmed for the selected configuration.
Deployment time depends on the selected system, number of modules, site access, terrain, anchoring requirements, water conditions and available crew. Nordic Deployment evaluates these factors during configuration and provides deployment guidance for the proposed system.
Yes. The systems are designed for recovery and reuse. After deployment, the modules can be deflated, inspected, packed and transported to another location. Recovery and packing should follow the operating procedure supplied with the selected system.
Provide the expected vehicle or personnel load, route length or crossing span, terrain or water conditions, bank profile, site location, desired deployment timeline and transport constraints. Site photographs, drawings and vehicle details help the engineering team recommend the correct configuration.
