Why Nordic Deployment

Norwegian Engineering. Mission-Ready Performance.

Nordic Deployment rapid structures combine compact transport, fast inflation and modular configuration to establish protected working, treatment, maintenance and accommodation space where permanent facilities are unavailable. Deployment time and crew requirements vary by system size, site conditions and selected accessories.

Deployment Matched to Scale

Deployment timing depends on what is being made operational. The D-Block inflates in approximately five minutes. D-Dome inflation is listed at approximately 20 minutes, while a complete standard building configuration may require 2-4 hours once assembly and fit-out are included. The D-Dome Flight Hangar is listed at approximately three hours.

Built for Temporary Sites

Deploy on a stable, reasonably level site without committing to permanent construction. Final ground preparation, anchoring and access requirements are confirmed against the selected structure, local conditions and intended use.

Modular Mission Configuration

Scale from a compact one- or three-person cabin to modular D-Dome facilities with footprints from 16 to 360 m². Configure space for medical treatment, command and control, maintenance, storage, accommodation or aviation support.

Transport, Recover and Redeploy

Inflatable construction reduces packed volume and enables systems to be transported, recovered and reassigned as missions change. Packing, lifting and transport requirements are defined for the selected model and configuration.
CHOOSE YOUR SYSTEM

Choose the Right Rapid Structure for Your Mission

Select by operational role, required floor area, deployment window, transport method and environmental conditions. Nordic Deployment engineers can recommend a standard system or mission-specific configuration based on your personnel, equipment and site requirements.

Configure the Facility Around the Operation
Match internal space and access to the people and assets the structure must support. Medical layouts can prioritize treatment zones and climate control; command and workshop configurations can accommodate equipment, lighting and cable routes; accommodation layouts can be scaled by occupancy; aviation systems can be specified around aircraft dimensions, door clearance and maintenance access.

D-Dome Modular Building System
Create scalable field infrastructure for hospitals, command centers, workshops, offices, storage and accommodation. The D-Dome inflatable modular building system is available in square and rounded profiles, with modular footprints from 16 to 360 m² and optional lighting, HVAC and access configurations.

D-Dome Inflatable Flight Hangar
Protect and support aircraft at remote or temporary operating locations. The D-Dome inflatable flight hangar uses connected inflatable modules and can be configured for fighter aircraft, including F-16 and JAS 39 Gripen applications, with optional end walls, personnel doors and a folding front gate.

D-Block Nordic Cabin
Provide compact rest, recovery, first-aid or small-team accommodation close to the point of need. One-person and three-person models offer sealed construction, battery-powered inflation and connections for ventilation or portable climate control.

From Requirement to Deployable Configuration
Share the intended use, required internal dimensions, deployment site, climate, transport constraints, crew availability and accessories. The engineering team will confirm the suitable structure, module count, anchoring approach, equipment package and deployment plan before quotation.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked About Rapid Structures.

How quickly can the structures be deployed?
Deployment time varies by system and by whether the requirement is inflation only or a complete operational fit-out. The D-Block inflates in about five minutes. D-Dome inflation is listed at approximately 20 minutes, while a complete standard configuration may take 2-4 hours. The D-Dome Flight Hangar is listed at approximately three hours.
Choose the D-Dome building system for scalable hospitals, command centers, workshops, offices, storage or accommodation; the D-Dome Flight Hangar for temporary aircraft protection and aviation support; or the D-Block for compact one- or three-person rest, recovery or first-aid space. Nordic Deployment can confirm the configuration against your mission.
Each system requires a stable, reasonably level deployment area. Ground preparation, anchoring, clearances, vehicle access and power requirements depend on structure size, local conditions and intended use. These should be confirmed during configuration.

Yes. The systems are designed to be deflated, packed, transported and redeployed. Recovery procedures, packing method and lifting or transport equipment depend on the selected model and accessories.

Yes. Depending on the system, options may include heating, air conditioning, ventilation, lighting, flooring, access doors, end walls and other mission-specific equipment. Final wind, temperature, anchoring and environmental suitability should be confirmed for the selected configuration and deployment site.
